Peoria 2B Cory Spangenberg (SD) went 3-for-5 with a two-run home run and a double in the Javelinas’ defeat vs. Scottsdale Monday. 3. Surprise LF Mitch Haniger (MIL) hit a three-run home as part of a five-run eighth inning as the Saguaros came back to beat Glendale. 4. Mesa CF Brian Goodwin (WSH) drove in three runs and homered in the Solar Sox rain-shortened game vs. Salt River yesterday. 5. 2013 Tidbits  Ten of the 18 (55%) Gold Glove winners are Arizona Fall League alums. The seven American League winners are LF Alex Gordon (2005), SS J.J. Hardy (2002), 1B Eric Hosmer (2010), CF Adam Jones (2005), 2B Dustin Pedoria (2004), C Salvador Perez (2010) and RF Shane Victorino (2002). The three National League winners are 3B Nolan Arenado (2011 MVP), 2B Brandon Philips (2001-02) and SP Adam Wainwright (2004).  A total of 99 Arizona Fall League alumni graced the rosters of the eight teams in the divisional round of the MLB playoffs, representing nearly 50 percent of the 200 players on division series rosters.
