Faculty: Lecturers will help you a lot in academics as well as in your personal life. They will assist you in every moment. As I know about my department teachers, they are like real mentors. Here you can only opt for science stream as this is a science college. You can choose streams like physics, chemistry, botany, zoology geology, mathematics and statistics as your UG Honours course, and you can also pursue your PhD from this college.

S Shilpi Kumari | B.Sc. in Computer Application - Batch of 2021 Verified Reviewed on 13 Aug 2020 3.2 Placements 3 Infrastructure 4 Faculty & Course Curriculum 3 Crowd & Campus Life 3 I am not very satisfied with this college, and it is below my expectation. Placements: The percentage of students got placed from our department is very low. In 30 students, about 5-6 students got placed. We apply for off-campus placements. Companies like TCS and Wipro visit our college for placements. The salary package offered ranges from 5-6 LPA. Infrastructure: There is a separate library for our department. We don't need to buy a basic book because our college provides it. Our college provides labs and Wi-Fi facility. In labs, each student gets one computer, so the lab facility is good. Classrooms are not satisfactory.

Faculty: Some teachers in our college are very qualified, but some are not good. Their teaching quality is good. They do not provide projector and regular labs, so it becomes hard for them to teach and understand some topics clearly. Very few curriculum activities are conducted here. I don't know anything that it makes students ready for industry or not. Other: I have chosen this course because I am interested in computers. Regular computer regarding fest is organised to make the environment competitive. Our college also provides an internship. Teachers should be modified. Traditional learning is not sufficient for this course which they still provide.

Wipro and Tata Consultancy Service are companies that offered placements, but no one got an internship this year. Top roles offered in B.Sc computer science are software developer, application developer, system analyst, database designer and handler.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of this college is average. Open Wi-Fi is available for all students, and its speed is also good. Computer labs are available with the required amount of computers and a projector. Classrooms are average as benches are old, and there is no projector in class. The library is available, so students don't have to worry about purchasing books. They can take books from the library. There is proper management for students in renting books free. Quality of hostels is very bad. I left the hostel because of the bad quality of food in the hostel. Hostel rooms are in very bad condition. Canteen is available in our college, but it is average. There is no medical facility. Sports and games are regularly conducted by our college. We have a department, especially for sports and indoor games named gymnasium, where you can play table tennis, chess, carrom, etc. Faculty: Teachers are below average. Some teachers are helpful but not all. Some are not knowledgeable and not so qualified. Overall, the teaching quality is very poor. This course curriculum is relevant, but it doesn't make students industry-ready. Students need to do extra work to become industry-ready. Other: I have chosen this course to know more about the IT sector. The best thing about this course is that it gives you much detail about the IT industry. It develops your basic skills in software development and gives you much knowledge about databases. Events and fests are not conducted in our college, but the campus crowd is good. There is good connectivity of college to rest city. Campus surroundings are good and friendly. There is NIT Ghaat near this college which is a good place to visit. It is a friendly spot. You can participate in many extracurricular activities, like dancing, singing, etc.

The campus has a big ground for sports and other activities. The hostel is also good, and it is available at a reasonable rate. Mess and canteen are also good. Faculty: Professors are knowledgeable and qualified, but they are not regular for taking the class. There are some regular and some guest faculty members. The syllabus is completed on time, and you get to know things that you have in your syllabus. The course curriculum is not updated and does not make students industry-ready.

Placements: There are no placements for our department, but I heard that the other departments have placements. There is no internship programme in our college. I want to participate in these internship and placement programs, but they don't offer these to us. Everyone in my department is preparing for general competition.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure and facilities in our college are very good. You would find everything, from spacious classrooms to laboratory. There is a library too, but they don't let you touch books. You have to ask them if you want. Canteen is the most popular place in our college, you would get lots of things to eat at low prices. I didn't face any infrastructure-related issue till now. Faculty: In our department, the student to faculty ratio is quite low. But, the teachers are helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. In our school, the staff used to say that the professors in colleges wouldn't help students. But after joining here, I came to know that they aren't correct. In our college, they don't charge fees for girls. They charge only the admission fees and examination fees which are quite low. Other: There are a lot of events in our college, from debate to sports to scholarship test. But, you have to be regular to the college.

You will just get a degree from the government college. It is one of the best colleges in Bihar, but there are no placements. I would suggest if you want to have good placement, don't think to join this college. Infrastructure: Infrastructure is very nice, well-built. A lot of money has been invested in making the college look nice. The ground and everything is available. The library and all the things are available. The medical facility is also available. So, it is good if you want to do B.Sc at a low price. Faculty: Faculty members are experienced. They have good knowledge of the subjects so that you can get good learning here. The courses offered are B.Sc physics, mathematics, chemistry and some other subjects. I would suggest you take admission here if you are interested in B.Sc because faculty members are helpful and you can learn the subjects according to your interest.

Placements: There are very fewer placements as no one can give job for only doing graduation like B.Sc. But, can give only when you have Masters. The college offers all courses like B.Sc., M.Sc., PhD, BCA, MCA, etc. The only importance is that the college is governmental, not private. So, the fees are very less, and the benefits are more by studying in such college which is one in whole Bihar and top college of Patna University. Infrastructure: The college has its own department, and it has a very large space. The college is spread over many acres, and the college has a beautiful infrastructure. The college has an administrative block and other department blocks in which you have to study. The college has a playground, canteen and great infrastructure. Faculty: All the courses except 11 and 12 are provided here. The courses are UG, PG, Masters, BCA, MCA, B.Sc and M.Sc. in Science, BCA, MCA, etc. The one can choose their favourite subject in the college. The faculty gives us a choice to choose our own subject without forcing them.

Placements: There are no placements provided after UG courses. Subjects like physics, chemistry, mathematics, geology, and statistics, etc., are available under the UG and PG programme. There are no placements involved under these programmes. Although, there are placements for BCA and biotech branch. Also, there is a good environment for further studies. There might be some placement offers after PG courses, depending upon the subject you are pursuing. Since there is no B.Tech course, there are no placements. This college provides UG and PG courses in fundamental subjects. No technical subjects are available except for BCA.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is not quite good, and I'm not satisfied with it. Classrooms are spacious but aren't maintained well, and labs lack the apparatus and setups. Wi-Fi facility is available, and the library is quite good. Medical facilities are available but are not up to the mark. Sports lack resources and proper attention has to be given to it. The condition of hostels is average.

Faculty: Faculty members here are quite. Teachers are really helpful, and senior teachers are qualified and have good knowledge of their subjects. Their method of teaching is also quite good. But newly appointed teachers are not that good. Faculty members, however good, are less considering the strength of students.
