Ametek Food Forest--Renaissance Family Center Address: 9005 Wilverne Dr. Windham, OH 44288 Phone: (330) 326-3003 Website: https://windhamrfc.com/about-us Hours: Same hours as Renaissance Family Center. Monday and Friday 10 a.m.-4 p.m.; Tuesday 10 a.m.- 6:30 p.m., Thursday 12 p.m.-6:30 p.m.; Closed Wednesdays. Hours subject to change. • Notes: Produce from garden is FREE and open to the public to come pick and enjoy in season. Gardeners will also pick during season and set out for public. Grows a variety of fruits (apples, pears, blueberries, kiwis, blackberries, raspberries, and strawberries) and has an herb garden. People are welcome to come relax in seating area and hold meetings in the garden as well.

2. Brimfield Community Cupboard Address: Faith United Methodist Church, 1235 Tallmadge Rd. Kent, Ohio 44240 Phone: (234) 817-1284 Website: https://www.facebook.com/pages/category/Charity-Organization/Brimfield-Community- Cupboard-1529887140582736/ Hours: Open Tuesdays and Thursdays 9:30 a.m.-11:30 a.m. • Notes: Provides groceries on a monthly basis for Brimfield residents who need assistance. The cupboard is located in the basement of the Faith United Methodist Church. Cupboard may be used once a month, with 30 days between usages. • Who Qualifies: Brimfield residents with income below the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services Federal State Funded Food Program Guidelines. • Required Documents: Must bring identification (driver’s license or state identification card) and current proof of address (mail with current address) at each visit. 7

3. Catholic Charities Address: 206 W. Main St. Ravenna, Ohio 44266 Phone: (330) 297-7745 Website: https://www.ccdoy.org/locations/catholic-charities-serving-portage-stark-counties/ Hours: Open Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Call ahead for appointment before going in person. Schedule is subject to changes. • Notes: Provides help to individuals and families on an emergency basis and offers emergency food pantries at both of their Ravenna and Canton locations. In cooperation with the Akron-Canton Regional Food bank, each site provides non-perishable food items as well as taxable items. Also has pop-up “Cooking Matters at the Store” programs, which is a guided grocery store tour, teaching participants skills for buying healthy foods on a budget. • Who Qualifies: Serves Portage residents with income at or below 200% Federal Poverty Guidelines. Service is available once in a 30-day period. • Required Documents: Valid photo ID (State ID or Driver's License). If current address is not on the ID, you will need to bring a recent piece of mail as proof of having a Portage address. • Fees: Free

Pantry hours correspond to open hours above but require an appointment to be made in advance for a specific time. It is recommended to call 3-4 days in advance if possible. Also serves meals daily (see “Hot Meals” for details) • Required Documents: None. • Fees: free

5. Church of Christ Ravenna Address: 3897 Summit Rd. Ravenna, Ohio 44266 Phone: (330) 296-3637 Website: http://ravennachurchofchrist.org/benevolence Hours: Open 2nd Wednesday of every month, 8 a.m.-10 a.m. • Notes: Distributes emergency food to those living in Ravenna, Ravenna Township, Rootstown, and Charlestown Township. Households in Ravenna should not have received help already from the Center of Hope. Walk-ins are welcome. May phone the church office for more information anytime (leave a message and the call will be returned). • Who Qualifies: Serves households at or below 150% of poverty guidelines. • Required Documents: Current proof of address (photo ID or current utility bill), family size (social security cards, birth certificates, school records), and income (pay stub, benefits letter) is required. • Fees: Free

6. Crestwood 4C's Address: Hilltop Christian Church, 4572 W. Prospect St. Mantua, OH 44255 Phone: (330) 274-3310 Website: https://www.facebook.com/pg/Crestwood-4Cs-110618037324874/about/?ref=page_internal Hours: Open Monday, Wednesday, Friday, 1 p.m.-3 p.m. NOTE: Pantry closes if Crestwood Schools closed for inclement weather. • Notes: Provides food on an emergency basis to families in need in the Crestwood School District. Residents of Crestwood school district include Hiram, Hiram Township, Shalersville, Mantua and Mantua Township, parts of Streetsboro, Aurora, and Ravenna Township. Residents may use pantry once in a 30-day period. Walk-in for service. Appointments may be scheduled if needed outside of operating hours. If needed, clients may send a representative in their place (with proper paperwork) to pick up food. • Who Qualifies: Residents of Crestwood School District. • Required Documents: Photo ID for adult picking up the food and proof of address (mail or utility bill) for all adults in the household. • Fees: Free

7. Kent Social Services Address: 1066 S. Water St. Kent, Ohio 44240 Phone: (330) 673-6963 Website: https://fcsserves.org/program/kent-social-services/ Hours: Open Monday–Wednesday and Friday 9 a.m.-3 p.m.; Thursday 10 a.m.–5 p.m. • Notes: Groceries are available monthly through the Lord’s Pantry. The Lord’s Pantry provides three bags of groceries to income-eligible households per month. Groceries, diapers and personal care products are also provided in emergency situations. Additionally, holiday food is offered at Thanksgiving and Christmas. Serves residents of Kent, Franklin Township, and the part of Brady Lake in the Kent Public School District. Service may be used once per month. Appointments must be made in advance, with usually a 4 day wait from calling, although emergency orders may be taken if time permits. • Required Documents: Proof of residency such as a utility bill and photo ID.

Atwater, OH 44201 Phone: General Information- (330) 947-2259; Emergency Services- (330) 257-3753 Hours: Open first Saturday of the month, 10 a.m.-12 p.m. Emergencies by appointment 7 days a week, 9 a.m.-7 p.m. • Notes: Provides emergency food (generally about 75 pounds of food). Walk-in for services or call for emergency appointment. • Who Qualifies: Serves those with low income or who are facing temporary hardship. • Required Documents: TEFAP self-declaration form. • Fees: Free

Nelson Garrettsville Community Cupboard Address: 8147 Center St. Garrettsville, Ohio 44231 Phone: (330) 527-2011 Hours: Open Mondays 3 p.m.-6 p.m. and Wednesdays 9 a.m.-12 p.m. • Notes: Provides groceries to all eligible residents who live in the James A. Garfield School District. Participants may visit the cupboard once every month with no appointment necessary. • Required Documents: Photo ID and proof of residency (recent utility bill or mail).

11. Randolph, Suffield, Atwater (RSA) Food Shelf Address: St. Joseph School Campus, 2643 Waterloo Rd. Mogadore, OH 44260 Phone: (330) 628-1801 Website: https://randolphtownshipohio.com/rsa-food-shelf/ Hours: Monday and Thursday 6 p.m.-7:30 p.m., Saturday 9 a.m.-12 p.m. • Notes: Can pick up groceries to take home. Appointments required, call to schedule an appointment or with any questions. • Who Qualifies: Residents of Randolph, Suffield, and Atwater Townships only. You must fall in the guidelines of the federal government.

Walk in for service. • Who Qualifies: Portage County residents. May only access service once per month. • Required Documents: State ID or Driver’s License • Fees: Free

Food is government surplus. Must bring own bags or boxes. There are often weekday and evening activities such as prayer groups, family events, lunch groups, youth clubs, and meetings for seniors. May provide delivery for homebound individuals. • Who Qualifies: Due to COVID-19, households at or below 230% of the Federal Poverty Guideline Level are eligible for The Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP) at participating food pantries. • Required Documents: Current photo ID (Driver's License or State ID) • Fees: Free

Appointments often fill up two weeks in advance and is not considered an emergency pantry. By appointment only.

Packages may contain frozen meat and milk. Residents must be below or at the 200% federal poverty limit. • Required Documents: Must bring photo ID. Family will have to fill out a form stating income, family size & ages.

Open Friday by appointment 11 a.m.-1 p.m. • Notes: Provides emergency food for Streetsboro residents. During November and December, pantry clients may sign up to receive supplies for a holiday meal, while supplies last. • Who Qualifies: Serves Streetsboro residents in need of food as well as Hudson zip code 44236 on Wellman Street only. Households may use the pantry one time per month. • Required Documents: Adult picking up food must bring current photo ID and proof of address for each adult member of household (a current piece of mail or utility bill). Must declare number of children as well as their ages.

19. Trinity Lutheran Church Address: 600 S. Water St. Kent, Ohio 44240 Phone: (330) 673-5445 Website: https://trinitylutherankent.org/ Hours: Open 1st Wednesday of every month, 9 a.m.-12 p.m.; Open last Saturday of every month, 9 a.m.- 12 p.m. through the Akron Food Bank. Schedule subject to change. • Notes: Emergency assistance offers up to forty food vouchers for eggs, milk, and bread at a first come first serve basis. Distributes surplus food at the end of the month to those in the community who are in need. • Who Qualifies: Serves Kent and Franklin Township area residents. Targets, but is not limited to older adults, the unemployed, and those receiving government assistance. Call for an appointment. • Who Qualifies: Aurora residents who are facing financial hardship. • Required Documents: Adults picking up food must bring current photo ID as well as a current piece of mail (within the last 30 days) addressed to all other adult members of the household. Will need to declare number of children as well as their ages. • Fees: Free

22. Women, Infants, and Children Program (WIC) Address: Portage County Administration Building, 449 S. Meridian St.,1st Floor, Ravenna, Ohio 44266 Phone: (330) 297-9422 Website: http://www.co.portage.oh.us/portage-county-health-district/wic Hours: Open Monday–Friday, 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. and 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month 10 a.m.-6:30 p.m. • Notes: WIC provides food benefits redeemable at local grocery stores for milk, eggs, juice, cereal, peanut butter or beans, whole grains, fruits and vegetables, baby foods and infant formula. Services include nutrition education, breastfeeding education and support, immunization screening and referrals for health care and social services. In addition, those receiving assistance from OWF, Food Assistance or Medicaid are income eligible for WIC services. Farmers’ market coupons are available in the summer months. • Who Qualifies: Pregnant and breastfeeding women; non-breastfeeding postpartum women; infants and children birth to age five who are present at the clinic appointment and able to provide proof of identity; residents of the state of Ohio; income eligible--185% of Federal Poverty Income Guidelines; at medical/nutritional risk based on health and diet information assessed by a health professional at the time of certification.

Ravenna, OH 44266 Phone: (330) 296-9211 Notes: Assists the elderly by providing one nutritionally balanced meal each weekday to individuals 60 years of age and older. Services are provided at various locations throughout Portage County. Home delivered meals are available.

Prospect St. Ravenna, Ohio 44266 Phone: (330) 297-7196 Website: http://www.fumcofravenna.org/ Hours: Lunch served Saturdays 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m., with coffee beginning around 10:30 a.m. Notes: “Loaves and Fishes” is a weekly free lunch program. It is held every Saturday in Fellowship Hall on the second floor. Various Ravenna area churches and community groups rotate the preparation and service of the luncheon.
