What about a career in business?...we have that, too! If theatre is your passion, our department chair spent time on Broadway. We also have a manufacturing technology degree program with embedded certificates that will put you in the job market sooner. We’ve got nursing, English, science, child development and everything in between.

If you’ve decided on a major - that great news! If not, we can help. You can start here and go on to finish a four-year degree. Lots of our students do that because they like being close to home, like saving money, and like starting small.

Just as many begin with us as concurrent high school students to start earning college credits early. The Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education pay tuition for concurrent students, so the cost for students (books/fees) is a good investment that’s easy to afford.

Other students come to us as aspiring athletes who want more time on the playing field. Many students are needed on the family farm and can’t move too far away. Some are starting over to begin a new career. Some are older and enrolling in college for the first time.

The majority of students end up appreciating their time at Murray and most often they’re not ready to leave when graduation rolls around.
