ELECTION URGENT DCKKD/8736/2020-E1 Proceedings of District Collector & District Election Officer, Kozhikode Dated 12.03. 2021 (Present : Seeram Sambasiva Rao IAS) Sub: General Election to LAC 2021 – Mandatory Preparations-Appointment of Sectoral Officers –Kozhikode District-Modified Orders Issued_Reg Ref: 1. Various guidelines from Election Commission of India. 2.This office proceedings of even no dated 12.02.2021 3. This office proceedings of even NO. dtd. 05.03.2021 --------------- In obedience of the Guidelines from Election Commission of India, sectoral Officers have to be appointed in Polling Station wise in all LACs in the District. Various officers were appointed as sectoral officers in the district vide reference No.3rd cited and the same is hereby modified. Their duties and responsibilities are briefly explained below. All the sectoral officers are directed to discharge their duties accordingly. • Ascertain the approach and accessibility to Polling stations &Auxiliary Polling stations Concerned. • Ascertain the infrastructure in PSs – water, shade, ramps, toilet, telephone, electricity etc • Collect mobile phone No.s, ascertain mobile connectivity • Existence of party offices with 200 mtrs of periphery of PSs • Monitor unauthorized campaign vehicles, defacement, and misuse of public bldg/Govt. Vehicles/Govt. servants etc • EVM demonstration to the voters, EVM monitoring, Sealing, Replacements, if any. • Information on EPIC coverage programmers • Vulnerability mapping, identification, contact points • Transportation and deployment of polling team, material, force to PSs • Reports to control room, check voting pattern • Mock poll status, Report of polls, status report • Presence and absence of Polling Agents, handling poll day complaints • End of poll activities/reports • Any other duties assigned by DEO or Deputy Collector (Elec) or any other person authorized by him to do so 020– VADAKARA LAC. From the total State Plan, an outlay of Rs 1962.00 Crore has been earmarked for Scheduled Caste Sub Plan (SCSP), which is in proportion to the percentage of Scheduled Castes to the total population of the State. As we all know, the Scheduled Caste Sub Plan (SCSP) is aimed at (a) Economic development through beneficiary oriented programs for raising their income and creating assets; (b) Schemes for infrastructure development through provision of drinking water supply, link roads, house-sites, housing etc.
