Significant Operational Accomplishment
a. BARANGAY BUGNAY, TINGLAYAN, KALINGA MJ ERADICATION
On June 1, 2018, at 0600H, joint personnel of PDEA-CAR, Kalinga Provincial Mobile Force and Tinglayan Municipal Police Station conducted marijuana eradication at Brgy. Bugnay, Tinglayan, Kalinga. The operation resulted to the discovery of marijuana plantation site with an estimated total land area of 1,080 square meters yielding a total of MOL 10,190 pieces of fully grown marijuana plants with a DDB Value of 2,038,000.00 pesos. These illegal hemps were burned onsite. However, no cultivator was found during the operation.

On June 3, 2018, joint operatives of PDEA-CAR Baguio City-Benguet SEU and BCPO Station 5 conducted a buy- bust operation along Legarda Rd., Baguio City which resulted to the arrests of JESUS DE LA CRUZ, 34 years old and DOMINADOR DAGULO, 41 years old. Confiscated during the operation were 10 pieces transparent plastic sachets containing white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu weighing MOL 50 grams with a market value of 340,000.00 pesos. A case for Violation of Section 5, Article II in realation to paragraph B Section 26 of RA 9165 is being prepared for filing in court against the suspects.
c. GALVEZ DRUG GROUP Member Arrested
On June 4, 2018, joint operatives of PDEA-CAR Baguio City-Benguet SEU conducted a buy-bust operation along Long-long Rd., Brgy., Puguis, La Trinidad, Benguet which resulted to the arrest of VINCENT MARK BILON MALICDEM aka “POGS”, 24 years old, a GALVEZ DRUG GROUP member. Confiscated during the operation were 3 pieces heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu weighing MOL 1.5 grams withmarket value of P 10,200.00 pesos. A case for violation of Section 5, 11, and 15, Art. II of RA 9165 is being prepared for filing in the court against the suspect.

On June 6, 2018, joint operatives of PDEA-CAR Baguio and BCPO Station 2 conducted a buy-bust operation along La Trinidad Jitney Terminal-Magsaysay Avenue, Baguio City which resulted to the arrest of Larry Nazarro y Nepalis, 53 years old. Confiscated during the operation were 1 heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu weighing MOL 2.8011 grams with a market value of P 19,050.00 and 19 P 1,000.00 boodle money, 1 piece P 1,000.00 genuine peso bill. A case for Violation of Section 5, Art. II of RA 9165 is being filed in the court against the suspect.
e. BUY-BUST in BAGUIO CITY
On June 18, 2018, operatives of PDEA-CAR conducted a buy-bust operation infront of Church of God World Missions, Philippines, Lower Mabini St., Baguio City which resulted in the arrest of ROMEO TAN y ABUCAY, 55 years old. Confiscated during the operation were 1 heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu weighing MOL 1.2 grams with market value of P 8,160.00 pesos, 1 piece genuine P 1,000.00 peso bill, and 9 pieces P 1,000.00 peso boodle money. A case for Violation of Section 5, Art. II of RA 9165 is being filed in the court against the suspect.

f. “OPLAN LINIS BARANGAY”
On June 19, 2018, joint personnel of PDEA-CAR Kalinga SEU, Tinglayan Municipal Police Station and Kalinga Provincial Mobile Force implemented “ OPLAN LINIS BARANGAY “ and conducted marijuana eradication at Barangay Loccong, Tinglayan, Kalinga. THE OPERATION RESULTED TO THE DISCOVERY OF 5 MARIJUANA PLANTATION SITES with an estimated total land area of 2,550 square meters yielding a total of MOL 19,450 pieces fully grown marijuana plants and 5,000 grams marijuana stalks with a total DDB Value of P 4,515,000.00 pesos. These illegal hemps were burned onsite. However, no cultivator was found during the operation.

g. ARREST OF BRYNER THADDEUS OBRA
On June 25, 2018, joint operatives of PDEA-CAR Baguio City-Benguet SEU, Kalinga SEU, and Ifugao-Mountain Province SEU conducted a buy-bust operation in front of Grace Baptist Church along Marcos Highway, Baguio City which resulted in the arrest of BRYNER THADDEUS OBRA @ DEONG, 35 years old. Confiscated during the operation were 4 pieces of heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu weighing MOL 2.5 grams with market value of P 17,000.00 pesos, 1 piece sachet containing suspected cocaine weighing MOL 0.3 grams with a market value of P 1,590.00, 1 piece genuine P 1,000.00 peso bill marked money, 12 pieces P 1,000.00 peso bill boodle money, 1 Beige Honda Civic Car bearing with a plate # UGJ 228. A case of Violation of RA 9165 is being filed against the suspect.
h. NEWLY ELECTED BARANGAY KAGAWAD ARRESTED in ABRA

On June 27, 2018, Operatives of PDEA-CAR implemented a Search Warrant issued by Hon. Raphiel Alzate of RTC BR. 1 Bangued, Abra against REYNANTE TUGADE y TADEO at Brgy. Budac, Tayum, Abra, a target listed and newly elected Brgy. Kagawad of Brgy. Budac. Confiscated during the operation were, 2 heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu weighing MOL 0.06 grams with a market value of P 408.00 pesos. A case for Violation of Section 11, Art. II of RA 9165 is being filed in the court against the suspect.
i. MJ ERADICATION @ Barangay Buscalan, Tinglayan, Kalinga
On June 29, 2018, @ 2200H joint personnel of PDEA RO II, PDEA-CAR, PDEA RO I, Kalinga PDEU, Tinglayan MPS, KPMFC, 501B, 503rd Brigade, 5ID PA conducted a marijuana eradication in Brgy. Buscalan, Tinglayan, Kalinga which resulted to the destruction of 14 marijuana plantation sites with an estimated land area of 3,900 square meters with a total DDB value of P 5,930,000.00 pesos.

j. MJ Eradication @ Barangay Loccong, Tinglayan, Kalinga
On June 29, 2018, @ 2200H joint personnel of PDEA RO II, PDEA-CAR, PDEA RO I, Kalinga PDEU, Tinglayan MPS, KPMFC, 501B, 503rd Brigade, 5ID PA conducted a marijuana eradication in Brgy. Loccong, Tinglayan, which resulted to the destruction of 8,200 fully grown marijuana plants discovered in 2 marijuana plantation sites measuring about 3,500 square meters and the seizure of 10 kg of dried marijuana stalks with an estimated DDB value of P 2,910,000.00 pesos.
