XM fans who make an online contribution of $50 or more to the American Red Cross International Response Fund will receive a special "XM Nation: Operation Helping Hand" wristband.

"When disaster strikes, the Red Cross depends on voluntary contributions to provide operation relief supplies, financial assistance, and emergency personnel," said Eric Logan, executive vice president of programming, XM

1 Satellite Radio. "We are calling on the XM Nation to stand up and make a contribution so the Red Cross can assist in the massive relief effort underway in southern Asia. Every contribution makes a difference.

"We originally launched 'XM Nation: Operation Helping Hand' in the days following Hurricane Jeanne in Florida, and the response from listeners was extraordinary.
