NEWS FEATURE Formula 1 Show at total 2’10”

17” As leader of the 3.5 Series after Round 4 at Nurburgring, Dutch driver Robin Frijns was rewarded with the chance to drive the Renault Formula 1 car at Moscow Raceway

10” ITV Robin Frijns (in English) Happy like a little child, really. It’s everybody’s dream, and to drive this Red Bull car which won races, it’s just a dream for me.

50” And so to Russia – where this weekend the World Series By Renault is the first major international motorsport event to compete at the brand new Moscow Raceway…

Between securing pole position for - and then winning – Formula Renault 3.5 Series Race 1, Robin Frijns swaps his team overalls for Red Bull Racing Renault livery, and prepares for the chance of a lifetime.

In front of a huge opening weekend crowd, Frijns prepares to drive his demonstration laps in the Red Bull Racing Renault Formula 1 car… the same car in which Sebastian Vettel was 2010 World Champion!

“Well it’s so different from the World Series car, there’s so much more grip, the acceleration and deceleration, it’s quite a big step – bigger than I expected. So it’s really awesome to drive it.”

14” “I took it easy because I need my energy for the World Series race, which is more important for me at this moment. But I think if I did a proper run, 10-15 laps, my nerves will be gone by then, I think.”
