To the Faithful Departed
To the Faithful Departed is the third studio album by the Irish rock band To the Faithful Departed The Cranberries, released on 30 April 1996. The album was made in memory of Denny Cordell who signed the band to Island Records[9] and Joe (vocalist Dolores O'Riordan's grandfather), who had both died that year.

The album sleeve photo session was made up of two parts, the first being the The Cranberries chronology original design for the front cover, a naked baby boy (supplied by their press No Need to To the Bury the officer Smash at Island Records) on his back urinating into the air which was Argue Faithful Hatchet shot in photographer Andy Earl's new studio on Shad Thames in London, and (1994) Departed (1999) the band seated in a yellow room. At the last minute, at Dolores O'Riordan's request, the two were swapped and Singles from To the Faithful the yellow room became the front cover. Departed
The yellow room was designed to be an echo of the previous two album 1. "Salvation" sleeves. It was built in London and transported to the Lake District and Released: 6 April 1996 erected in a forest near Loughrigg Holme. Snow fell on the erection day and 2. In 1996, The Cranberries toured in Asia, Oceania and North America to To the Faithful Departed promote their third studio album "To the Faithful Departed". The band originally planned for a European Leg, but had to cancel a few shows in Tour by The Cranberries Oceania and North America and the European leg. 2002 Re-release
The album was re-released in 2002, under the title To the Faithful Departed (The Complete Sessions 1996–1997). This version of the album featured bonus tracks as well as B-sides from the singles from the album.
