DETAILED ITINERARY

Day 1 Montreal | Arrival Upon your arrival in Montreal, transfer by private vehicle to the fabulous boutique hotel in historic but trendy Old Port district of Montreal. Spend the rest of the day at leisure to enjoy the sights and nightlife of Montreal. Montreal offers a fascinating mix of both the French and English cultures. Some of the finest shopping and dining in North America awaits you. Day 2 Montreal | Private Walking & Culinary Tour Accompanied by a professional guide, this gastronomic walk will help you to discover the culinary, cultural and historical charms of the oldest district of Montreal. Hosted in old warehouses and showrooms of the 19th century, some food boutiques open their doors to allow you taste their delicacies. Through small and narrow cobblestone streets, the guide explains the influence of the Amerindians and the nuns on our food habits and how the venue of the World Expo in 1967 brought exotic food to our tables. Continue on to explore the history and architecture of Old Montreal. Your professional guide will take you to Place d'Armes, Place Jacques Cartier, Notre Dame Basilica, Rue Saint Jacques, Notre Dame and Saint Paul, City Hall, Bonsecour Market only to name a few. Day 3 Montreal to North Hatley | Private Tour This morning enjoy a private tour of the Eastern Townships, ending at Manoir Hovey. A region of lush rolling hills named for its location east of Montreal, the Eastern Townships ("Estrie" in French), as they are generally called, occupy the southwest corner of the province along the US border. After the American Revolution, land parcels along the border were granted to Loyalists fleeing the US. The towns and villages these first settlers established reflect their New England heritage. After 1850 increasing numbers of French-speaking people moved into the region, and today its population is predominantly Francophone. On your tour, explore small towns such as , the principal city of the townships. The Musee des Beaux Arts (admission not included) exhibits a fine collection of Quebec Art, focusing on the Eastern Townships. Arrive into Manoir Hovey, located on Lake Massawippi just outside one of Quebec’s most picturesque villages – North Hatley. Manoir Hovey is truly one of Canada's most charming and romantic inns offering lakeside seclusion, luxury with haute cuisine on 1800 feet of prime lakeshore. The Manor was built at the turn of the century as a private estate modeled after George Washington's Mount Vernon home. Since 1950, Hovey Manor has been a prestigious resort inn offering everything right on site for a complete vacation year-round. Enjoy your stay in a Treetop Suite, an elegant county cottage perched on a cliff overlooking the Manoir. (Dinner included today)

Days 4 - 5 North Hatley | At Leisure We have left your time to be at leisure to enjoy the many activities that Manoir Hovey offers, be it an optional private guided tour of the region’s wineries and cheesemakers, a fishing excursion or soaring on a bicycle through the treetops, a cultural event or a night walk through an enchanted forest, the lodge will find the activity that matches your desires. Or you can simply relax and treat yourself to a massage or facial, enjoy a morning outdoor yoga class, or rent a kayak to explore Lake Massawippi. (Breakfast & dinners included during your stay) Day 6 Manoir Hovey to Quebec City | Private Transfer After breakfast, transfer by private vehicle to Quebec City. Following the St. Lawrence River, pass from city suburbs to the rural landscapes of forests and rich pastures, dotted with tiny villages that extend to Quebec City. Auberge Saint Antoine is located in the heart of the Quebec City's Old-Port, facing the majestic St. Lawrence River, a few steps away from the ramparts, the museums, and the bustling streets of le Petit Champlain. More than a boutique hotel, Auberge Saint-Antoine is a window on Quebec City’s past. Hundreds of artifacts from both the French and English regimes were discovered during an extensive archaeological dig on the property and are now on display for guests to enjoy. The day is free to discover Quebec City. As you explore the winding side streets, on foot or in a horse-drawn carriage, the romance of the city will enrapture you. It's the only fortified city in North America, and history comes alive as you stroll through its oldest neighbourhoods and tour its museums and historical sites. (Breakfast included today) Day 7 Quebec City | Private Helicopter flight + Old Quebec Walking Tour This morning embark on a private helicopter flight above the city and surrounding countryside. The sky is the limit! Discover Old Quebec City and its fortifications, the Chateau Frontenac, and the Plains of Abraham. Be the privileged witness of the landscapes of Côte-de-Beaupré and the magnificent Île d’Orléans, then fly over the Montmorency Falls and watch the cultural heritage built along the St. Lawrence River. Continue your flight out to the Parc national de la Jacques-Cartier, host to one of the most beautiful valleys in Quebec, the spectacular Vallée de la Jacques-Cartier. The Jacques Cartier River, calm in some places and turbulent in others, has sliced a 550-metre- deep channel into the plateau. A coniferous forest dominates the high plateaus, and deciduous trees people the deep valleys. Aboard our luxurious helicopter, nature is both inspiring and serene. Enjoy a sparkling wine and lunch then head back to Quebec City. In the afternoon, explore the sites of Old Quebec on foot with a professional guide. Over the course of approximately two hours, the tour covers the architecture, major events, and the Quebec people's history. Meanders next to historical sites such as the Citadel/Musée Royal 22nd Régiment, Chateau Frontenac, Quebec fortifications, Place Royale, and uncover many hidden Quebec sites! The rest of your day is free to enjoy the many small boutique shops and restaurants dotted throughout Old Quebec. Day 8 Quebec | Departure It’s now the end of your Quebec and Eastern Townships adventure, and we’ve capped it off with a private transfer to Quebec City Airport.
