SAMPLE ITINERARY

DAY 1 Arrive into Cork airport and transfer by coach to the 4* Montenotte Hotel in Cork City

Lunch of locally produced ingredients in the English Market Farm Gate Café in the heart of the city

Walking Tour of Cork City including a visit to the and Elizabeth Fort - with local historian Diarmuid O’Drisceoill

Return to the hotel.

Transfer to Curraheen Park Greyhound Stadium for a night at the dog races. Dinner included.

DAY 2 Breakfast at the hotel

Coach transfer to the historic town of Cobh (last port of call of the Titanic)

Board the Sea Safari high speed rib for an hour long trip around Cork Harbour – the second largest natural harbour in the world. Sea Safari ends at Cobh Harbour. Short stroll through the town.

Departure from Cobh and coach transfer to Ballymaloe House and Gardens for afternoon tea, a visit to the gardens and glasshouses and a stop at the craft shop.

Group departs from Ballymaloe Cooking School and coach transfer to the market town of Midleton to visit the Old Jameson Distillery Tour and have a whiskey tasting. Group departs from Middleton and coach transfer back to hotel

Departure from hotel and coach transfer to the Oliver Plunket Bar for an Irish Night Experience including dinner.

Coach transfer back to hotel

DAY 3 Breakfast at the hotel.

Transfer to UCC for a walking tour then on to Cork City Gaol.

Departure from the English Market and coach transfer to the sailing town of Kinsale on the Wild Atlantic Way.

Stop at Charlesfort for photo opportunity.

2 course lunch at Fishy Fishy Restaurant, Kinsale.

Free time in Kinsale to visit the many craft shops, art galleries, Black’s pale ale brewery and the Wine museum.

Return to hotel.

Free evening at leisure to dine in city centre restaurants – only 15 minutes walk from the hotel.

Day 4 Coach transfer to Cork Airport to depart on Aer Lingus flight to Munich.
