We have made signifi cant advancements and will be making an announcement later this summer. Paul W. Ainslie City of Toronto, Councillor Ward 24 Scarborough-Guildwood I have been working to build a community hub and jobs skills centre on the site since 2016 when the Toronto District School Board announced the closure of the school. After a signifi cant amount of work we have found support for the project and will be bringing the proposal to City Council for approval this July. I will provide full details of the announcement as they become available for distribution. Your continued support has been extremely instrumental during this process.

The Kingston/Galloway/Orton Park community is identifi ed as a Neighbourhood Improvement Area and has TWICE the youth unemployment rate as the rest of Toronto. This centre is urgently needed.
