For a quarter century, the auction has helped move the school forward, providing critical resources for the people, buildings, and programs that make Bear Creek such an extraordinary place. Donations to the Fund-A-Need tonight will be dedicated to expanding and enhancing the Main campus playground by adding 7,600 square feet and replacing some of the equipment. The playground plays a vital role in a Bear Creek education. Recess offers students the opportunity to practice wisdom as they decide how to participate and use their time, compassion as they remember to include others in their games, and courage to try a new activity. Students of all ages learn and focus better in the classroom when they have a chance to engage in physical activity during the day. Please be generous and help us reach our goal of raising $80,000. Thanks to the generosity of other Bear Creek parents, if you make a first-time gift to the Fund-A-Need tonight, or increase your gift from last year, your gift will be matched – doubling its value! Fund-A-Need donations are fully tax-deductible and eligible for corporate matching. Thank you for being part of our ongoing tradition. Enjoy the auction and the opportunities for fellowship with one another.
