Columbus Cottonmouths Kyle Johnson 2015-16 game worn jersey, size 56. Kyle Johnson came to the Cottonmouths after a combined six seasons in junior hockey with the Fort McMurray Oil Barons and college hockey at the Northern Institute of Technology. He made his professional debut with Columbus in 2012-13, and in his sophomore season with the Cottonmouths, he was named team captain. Johnson probably deserves some credit for helping Columbus acquire his former teammate at Northern Alberta Institute of Technology, Shannon Szabados, the first female to play in the Southern Professional Hockey League. This white OT Sports jersey shows great game use consisting of tears, stick marks and pilling. The fully embroidered twentieth anniversary logo is sewn on the front. An embroidered Hughston Hospital sponsor patch is sewn on the right breast, and the captain’s C in two color twill is sewn on the left breast. There is a small embroidered SPHL patch on the front lace up neckline. Three color snake numbers consisting of green and blue screened on black twill are on the sleeves and back. Johnson’s autograph in silver is located on the back number. The matching cloth nameplate also has single color sewn twill letters. On the back hemline is a sewn on embroidered OT Sports patch and an embroidered Sunshine Banners & Signs sponsor patch. Just below the back neckline and above the nameplate is a sewn on screened Pro Motors sponsor patch. The ends of the sleeves and the bottom hem have snake head logos imprinted onto the fabric, a nice finishing touch to this 20th anniversary jersey. I acquired this jersey directly from the team.
