Blaewanders Cottage is situated in a desirable location on the outskirts of the village of Madderty which lies approximately 9 miles east of Crieff and 14 miles west of Perth. The surrounding scenery is spectacular with a wide variety of local flora and fauna set within the rolling countryside.

The nearby market town of Crieff serves a large rural hinterland and as well as having a newly built Community Campus accommodating the secondary school, Crieff has a good selection of local shops and services. Crieff’s two golf courses are highly rated and there are also excellent leisure facilities at Crieff Hydro. The town of and the internationally renowned Gleneagles Hotel are situated approximately 7.5 miles (12km) to the south. The hotel offers three of the top golf courses in Scotland, a spa and country club as well as a range of other sporting and leisure activities.

The county town of Perth which is easily accessed has an excellent variety of shopping, business and high quality restaurants and bars to choose from.
