MEMBERS of the Years 7 and 9 girls’ seven-a-side football teams have made a successful start to the season. Both teams were formed late in 2008, and both have reached the final of the Leeds Schools Sport Partnership tournament, which was held across two legs in 2008 and 2009. The Year 9s won their first trophy for girls’ football for the school beating Horsforth, while the Year 7s were runners-up.

YEAR 9 pupil Adam Wade has been playing golf since the age of ten. The hockey team were runners-up in the U16 Leeds Schools Hockey League.
