Photo by Lisa Roper Our Advanced Life Support (ALS) program that went operational on August 1, 2011 is off to a strong start. Our volunteers and paid EMS personnel have already responded to over 750 medical incidents, with the majority of those responses occurring in Radnor Township. During our peak hours of call volume between 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. during the work week, we have a minimum of two Paramedics on duty ready to respond to any type of medical emergency. We have many projects on the horizon, including replacing one of our pumpers that is now 16 years old. It will cost an estimated $350,000 - $500,000 to replace this unit after a competitive bid process is completed by our Specifications Committee. The continued support of municipal tax dollars, grants, and the generosity of residents will enable us to complete this project. The Radnor Fire Company welcomes the community to visit during one of our events hosted by the Auxiliary or stop by anytime. We are committed to providing quality and timely emergency services to you and your family. We understand the great responsibility to lead the Radnor Fire Company and we are honored to serve you.
