OFFICIAL BASEBALL OF BASEBALL CANADA ROMLCAN 65CC 80CC RUSSELL MARTIN ©Rawlings Sporting Goods Company, Inc., a subsidiary of Jarden Corporation (NYSE: JAH) 1-800-RAWLINGS · RAWLINGS.COM Supporters, Sponsors and Family, As a staff we wanted to take a moment to reach out and say welcome to the Great Lake Canadians Family. We are proud of the many successes that we have achieved in our first two years of operation and look forward to continued success as we enter our third year. Our players have put our program on the map and established the Great Lake Canadians as one of the most prestigious baseball programs in the country. A leading highlight of this past year was seeing our first two players selected in the Major League Baseball Amateur player draft. Miles Gordon was selected in the 4th round by the Cincinnati Reds and Nick Hamilton was chosen in the 11th round by the Boston Red Sox. Along with these pro signings, sending all eighteen senior players from our first two graduating classes off on scholarships was an equally fulfilling highlight. Due to the increased popularity of the Great Lake Program and the talented players involved, we have chosen to expand and add a fourth and fifth team to our program for the 2016 season at the 14U and 16U levels. Our main strength as a program is that we have access to very knowledgeable staff members, all of whom have impressive credentials. The availability of these highly qualified coaches allows this expansion to occur. Even as we grow we will continue to focus on what we believe is the most important component of amateur sports which is player development.
