TOWN PLANNING ORDINANCE (Chapter 131) DRAFT SHA LO TUNG OUTLINE ZONING PLAN NO. S/NE-SLT/1 Pursuant to section 5 of the Town Planning Ordinance (the Ordinance), a draft plan for Sha Lo Tung prepared by the Town Planning Board is available for public inspection for a period of two months from the date of the first publication of this notice, that is until 12 March 2001, during normal office hours at the following locations:— (i) the Secretariat of the Town Planning Board, 15th Floor, North Point Government Offices, 333 Java Road, North Point, ; (ii) the Sha Tin, and North District Planning Office, Ground Floor, Sha Tin Government Offices, 6 Tung Lo Wan Hill Road, Tai Wai, Sha Tin, New Territories; (iii) the Office, Ground Floor, Tai Po Government Offices Building, 1 Road, Tai Po, New Territories; and (iv) the Tai Po Rural Committee, 1 Heung Sze Wui Street, , New Territories. In accordance with section 6(1) of the Ordinance, any person affected by the draft plan so exhibited may object, within the said period of two months, by sending to the Town Planning Board a written statement of his objection to anything appearing in the draft plan and address it to the Secretary, Town Planning Board, 15th Floor, North Point Government Offices, 333 Java Road, North Point, Hong Kong. In accordance with section 6(2) of the Ordinance, a written statement of objection shall set out:— (a) the nature of and reasons for the objection; and (b) if the objection would be removed by an alteration of the draft plan, any alteration proposed. Copies of the draft Sha Lo Tung Outline Zoning Plan No. S/NE-SLT/1 are available on payment of a fee at the Survey and Mapping Office, Map Publications Centre (Hong Kong), 23rd Floor, North Point Government Offices, 333 Java Road, North Point, Hong Kong, and the Survey and Mapping Office, Map Publications Centre (Kowloon), Ground Floor, 382 Nathan Road, Kowloon. Under section 20(6) of the Ordinance, where land that is within a development permission area plan is included in a draft outline zoning plan, the development permission area plan ceases to be effective in relation to that land. The land that was within the approved Sha Lo Tung Development Permission Area Plan No. DPA/NE-SLT/2 is now included in the draft Sha Lo Tung Outline Zoning Plan No. S/NE-SLT/1. Accordingly, the said Development Permission Area Plan ceases to be effective pursuant to section 20(6). The location of the planning area covered by the draft Plan No. S/NE-SLT/1 is shown on the location plan attached hereto. The location plan is for identification purposes only and the draft Plan No. S/NE-SLT/1 should be referred to for details.
