White Lodge Summer School

Residential Accommodation for all 10 – 14 year olds is at The Royal Ballet School’s Lower School, at White Lodge, Richmond Park, Surrey. Overnight accommodation cannot be offered before or after the course.
Non-Residential is ONLY available for single week attendance. Please choose the non-residential option only if you are certain that accommodation and daily travel can be arranged as it is not possible to change once places have been allocated.

Covent Garden Summer School

The course is offered on a tuition-only basis. The Royal Ballet School can offer accommodation to a limited number of students attending the course. The Summer School Office will send general hotel information to successful candidates, as we cannot offer accommodation to all students attending the course. It is strongly suggested that if accepted on to the course, alternative accommodation is found.

No audition is required for the White Lodge or Covent Garden Summer Schools. Selection will take place by the Acting Director with Head of Outreach and Teacher Training on the basis of photographs and information given on the application form. Guidelines for the photographs can be found on page 4 of the application form.
The closing date for applications is 28th February 2014. No late applications will be accepted.

All applicants will receive a reply following the selection process. In order to ensure you receive your result, please ensure that your postal address and e-mail are written clearly (BLOCK CAPITAL LETTERS ONLY). Results regarding the Summer School will be sent out approximately one month after the closing date.
Each application must be accompanied by a set of photographs and the non-refundable administration fee (£20.00 Sterling only).
Some degree of financial assistance is available to a limited number of students who are offered places on the courses; this is subject to the submission of a Declaration of Income, which will be sent to those who have requested funding following the selection process.
