• Penn State sophomore running back rushed for a career-high 202 yards last weekend against Maryland, the most yards on the ground by a Nittany Lion since Nov. 23, 2002, when Larry Johnson ran for 279 yards against Michigan State.

• The Big Ten ranks as the second-least penalized conference in the nation this year, with Big Ten schools averaging only 5.86 penalties per game. Seven conference schools rank among the top 20 nationally in fewest penalties, led by Northwestern and Wisconsin at No. 6 (3.6 per game).
