Dear Pigeon River Families,

You are cordially invited to attend the 2019 Holiday Sing held on the 13th day of December at the time of your choosing. Please be sure to park on the paced surfaces. Performances will be held at 9:30am and again at 2:00pm. Catch the hard work of Mrs. Kiehl's band and string students during the morning performance. All General Music classes, grades K-5, by Mrs. Sorenson will be singing at each performance. Grab a sweet treat at PTO's bake sale and enjoy the sounds and smiles of our students as they bring DECEMBER you music of the season. To minimize interruptions, please silence cell phones and plan 2-Jan 31 ACCESS Testing for English Learners to stay for the entire presentation. Parents are welcome to pick-up their child in the 2 PTO Meeting 5:30-6:30 classrooms immediately following the afternoon performance. 5 Northern Lights Concert 3:00 6 Gr 4 Historical Museum Field Trip 'Tis the season for potential weather related closings. ATTENDANCE MATTERS We are thankful!

As we prepare to take a short break from school for Thanksgiving, we want to express our gratitude for everyone who makes it possible for as many students as possible to come to school every day, on time, ready to learn. We thank:

• Our students and families for making daily attendance a priority since they know the habit of attendance will help them do well in the classroom and eventually in a job. STUDENT COUNCIL FOOD • Our wonderful teachers who pour their energy into making DRIVE each classroom an exciting place for exploration and 1,208 items donated knowledge so children do not want to miss out on learning 5 spirit days were earned; to be celebrated in December • Our support staff and community volunteers who provide the Contest Winners: The Lorfeld & Oschwald classrooms extra hands and attention our children need
