2. Details of public car parks in estates/courts managed by the Housing Department (HD)

The HD currently manages over 130 public car parks in various estates/courts. As a large amount of data is involved, we are unable to enlist the information of each car park in detail. We will only provide breakdown of the number of parking spaces in various districts by DC district.

Note： 1. The car parks under the HD are opened round the clock. 2. The parking fee is charged depending on the districts: the monthly rate of private cars ranges from $820 to $2,430; light goods vehicles ranges from $1,780 to $2,720; motorcycles ranges from $290 to $440. The hourly rate of private cars, light goods vehicles and motorcycles are from $10 to $14, $16 and $2 respectively. 3. The average monthly utilisation rate of last year is 92%. 13

The LCSD currently manages over 70 public car parks. As a large amount of data is involved, we are unable to enlist the information of each car park in detail. We will only provide breakdown of the number of parking spaces in various districts by DC district.
