Fothergill is a fantastic Victorian house located in the semi rural hamlet of South Tehidy which is a beautiful and highly regarded area of Cornwall close to Tehidy Woods which are laced with paths, walkways and duck ponds as well as having cycle trails through them. Nearby is Tehidy Golf Course set on the picturesque landscape of what used to be Tehidy Park Estate. Footpaths lead throughout the area and out to the stunning coastal footpath above North Cliffs leading from Portreath and Godrevy Lighthouse. The footpath also then continues around the entire coast of Cornwall as the South West Coast Path.

Illogan and Portreath both have local facilities and there is excellent surfing at Portreath which is a picturesque coastal village with a working fishing harbour.
