You may be surprised to know that Andover Township is home to more than 100 locally owned and operated businesses. These businesses provide our community with a wide variety of goods and services. Buying local creates jobs for our community, and it promotes local entrepreneurship which gives you more consumer choice. We are a four-season destination, with a nationally recognized state park and more than twenty (20) miles of trails. When visiting, stay overnight in our charming B&B and lodging options, stop in to one our many cafes and restaurants; and take your family to one of our ten local farms and farm markets for strawberries, apples, pumpkins, eggs and more.

Hillside Park, a 171-acre Andover Township Park located on Lake Iliff Road, is at the center of Andover Township recreation activities. Hillside Park is a great spot for the whole family; with an incredible playground, soccer and ball fields, tennis and basketball courts, and a pavilion with picnic tables and charcoal grills. The park is open to the public from dawn to dusk, but no dogs please.

Home to a variety of plants and wildlife, Kittatinny Valley State Park (KVSP), headquartered in Andover Township, comprises over 6,000 acres and offers 85 miles of hiking trails throughout three counties.

The wide surface of the Paulinskill Valley, Sussex Branch, Great Valley Rail, and newly completed Andover Loop Trails are excellent multi-use

When snow is abundant, these trails provide excellent opportunities for cross-country skiing and snowshoeing, making KVSP a perfect 4 season destination.
