Exhibitions atThe Alley

// EXHIBITION Shadows on Glass Showing until Friday 20th September This exhibition features a selection of images from J.A Burrows and Herbert F.Cooper, who through their work in the early 20th century captured studio portraits, street scenes, weather disasters and new technologies. The images have become iconic over the years, as have the portraits of local people, whose identities have become lost over the decades but whose character shines through.

Cooper's photographs are regarded as the finest pictorial record of life in provincial Ireland before the Second World War. This exhibition is led by the Museum and Heritage Service of City and Strabane District Council with the support of the Public Records Office of .
