2016 Best of Show – C.W. Mundy, Pond Yachts in the Studio

92nd Annual Exhibition 2016 Presented by Noyes Group hoosiersalon.org 1

The truth here is that the Salon was created in 1925 by a farsighted group who dreamed of showcasing ’s art in an annual exhibition. Its members hoped:

• To inspire Indiana artists, the novices as well as the experts, to develop their collective talent,

• To call attention to those artists who immortalize Indiana’s beauty, its character and its history, and

• To furnish an outlet and profitable market for those artists, a market which would encourage the beginner and reward the professional.
