The MME’s campaign for cleaning the coral reefs at the Sealine Beach started in 2009. The pro- cess helps rapid growth of the coral reefs, accord- ing to an official from the MME. He added that the ministry is making every effort to preserve coral reefs as part of its initiative to protect the seabed of Qatar from pollutants that lead to the de- terioration of marine life, including coral reefs.
