PIANO MASTER CLASS WITH ALUMNA HYUN-SOO LEE Saturday, March 19 at 1 p.m. Hyun-Soo Lee earned her Bachelor’s degree at Lynn University in 2002 and returns to give a master class for the current Conservatory piano students. Subsequently she was awarded the Professional Study degree at the Colburn School in Los Angeles and currently pursues a doctorate at USC. Lee has appeared with the London Soloists Chamber at St.

Martin in the Fields and the Korean Symphony Orchestra in Seoul. She was prize -winner in the Virginia Waring Competition, IBLA Competition in Italy, and state winner (Florida) in the MTNA Steinway Collegiate Artist Competition. William has performed with several ensembles throughout Palm Beach County including “Brass Five, a freelance brass quintet in Variations in Olden Style Thomas Stevens (b. 1938) West Palm Beach, the Palm Beach Atlantic University Brass and Tuba ensembles, and the Palm Beach Gardens Community Band. In the summer of 2010, William Sonata (Concerto) for Tuba and Piano Bruce Broughton participated in the “Atlantic Brass Quintet International Seminar” i n Boston, Allegro Moderato (b. 1945) Andante Moderato Massachusetts where he received the “Most Improved Tuba Player” and “Mount Allegro Leggero Everest” awards. In addition, William recently performed in a side by side concert with the Youth Orchestra of Palm Beach County under the direction of Manuel Capote, and the Dublin Youth Orchestra under the direction of Fergus Sheil.
