Aug 11 Michelangelo’s Sistine Chapel Exhibit, Oak Brook Center, IL. Club charter trip to view the ceiling paintings of the Sistine Chapel, recreated with special printing techniques. View every detail, brush stroke and color of the 34 frescoes. $80 per person includes r/t motorcoach transportation and gratuities. 2 seats remain.

Aug 12 PaCE program. Hear award-winning, Emmy-nominated, Kelly & Tammy Rundle of Fourth Wall Films as they present Sons & Daughters of Thunder, the true story of the 1834 emancipation debates and their effect on a young Harriet Beecher Stowe. 11:30am. Cost is $23 which includes lunch, program and admission to the QC Botanical Center, 2525 4th Ave., Rock Island. To register call 309-796-8223.

Aug 12 Celebration Belle Dinner Cruise. Dock located at 2501 River Dr., Moline, 5:30pm check-in; board 6pm; depart 6:30pm. Member price, $50pp; incudes gratuity. $60 non-member. Reservations must be mailed and postmarked by August 4.

Aug 19 Putt Putt Golf at The Forge, Palmer Hills Golf Course, Middle Rd., Bettendorf. 6pm; $8/member.

Aug 22 Circa ‘21 Dinner Playhouse, 1828 3rd Ave., Rock Island. Saturday Night Fever; The Club’s seating is sold out!

Aug 30 Concert in the Park, Enjoy the fourth of the season’s five outdoor concerts sponsored by Rasmussen Investments, Bettendorf. Featured is the Edgar Crockett Duo; Veteran’s Memorial Park, 1645 23rd St., Bettendorf; 11:30-1:30pm. Free! Bring your lawn chairs, picnic lunch and beverage. Rain date is Tuesday, August 31. If in doubt, call our club’s cell phone at 563-370-4566 to confirm the rain date. If inclement weather on the rain date, the performance is cancelled.
