I found “Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull” to be a pretty good movie for having to await a sequel twenty years later. The plot line was good, but quite a bit different from any of the other Indiana Jones movies. I have never seen these certain kind of artifacts used in these movies or a story line taken in this direc- tion so it was very interesting to see something new. Acting was great. I was happy to see them continuing to bring back Harrison Ford and Karen Allen for another crack at this well known series that so many people have grown to love. I thought this movie was somewhat cheesy, but a fair amount of comedy kept you laughing and entertained throughout the film. It was great to see them adding in Ford’s age to the storyline to make it seem more realistic with the audience knowing that it has been some time since the last film. 10 – THURSDAY, MAY 29, 2008 TIME OUT Editor: Chris McCartney, 468-3524 The Ukiah Daily Journal [email protected]
