Taking care of her is a full-time job and that is my Happy Birthday Abby, Alan, Allison, main priority at the moment, so finding time to Andre, Andrew, Andy, Ann, Arthur, Big John, work on the Stun has been challenging. Page 4 RANTS & RAVES My sisters Brenda and Kay came over from Gravesend for a couple of days, to visit Elly in hospital and give moral support to their brother, over a drink or two.

After a couple of delays, Elly finally came home from the hospital on Thursday 21st April and was straight on the phone to give the good news to her sister.

On their last night in town, our Dutch sister Ans met us at the hospital and then we went to Molly Malone’s for dinner and more drinks.

We stayed at home on King’s Day, but broke out the orange gear for its once a year wear. Andy

More neighbour problems for Maloe Melo, this time from a new tenant who moved in above one of Amsterdam’s most famous venues and started complaining about the live music in the front bar! Patrick can still play recorded music, and has plenty to choose from.

Indra and Emily were propping up the bar in the Waterhole Tap & Dine.

Jim, Luisa and Hendrik were on a family day out in Excalibur. Page 16 ROUND THE BARS Jurgen, Rauli and barman Bartel were all celebrating their birthday in Bourbon Street.

Josie, Helma and Chris were enjoying their Friday night in the Flying Dutchman.

In the Waterhole Tap & Dine, a teetotal Terry Mann told us about his new TV show, An American in Amsterdam, every Sunday night at 22:30 on Salto 1.

Just for a change, we caught Claire and Del Bhoy on the other side of the bar in Durty Nelly’s.

The warm weather meant David and Ivan had a full terrace at Josélito Café Tapas.
