7 Health & Wellbeing “FAILING TO PREPARE IS PREPARING TO FAIL” As we enter exam season for our Year 11, Year 13 and many of our Year 12 students, I have the following message for students: remember that you can do this. You, along with your teachers and parents, have been working towards these exams for months, years even! Now is the me to focus, prepare and look aer yourself. Remember, sleep well, eat well and stay hydrated. If you feel worried or overwhelmed there are plenty of people for you to talk to – do not struggle in silence, ask for help if you need it. In a few months the exams will be over and you will have a long summer ahead of you, but for now, keep your eye on the prize. Don’t fall at the last hurdle. You can do this. Mrs Southall

MINDFULNESS FOR THOSE AGED 11 TO 16 YEARS The Letchworth Centre for Healthy Living is running a series of mindfulness workshops for teenagers. This is parcularly useful for those studying for exams in order to give them some much needed down me.
