This is the first time that the Championships have been in held Dubbo and we thank Dubbo Showground for providing the venue. Australian horses and riders have made an impression on the international scene over the last 12 months and it all starts right here at home. Whilst we have lost some quality horses to overseas buyers, we are proud that world class horses are being produced on our Australian circuit. Thank you to all the riders, coaches, course designers, officials, event organisers, volunteers, parents and grooms for making not only these championships but the whole the Australian Jumping circuit an exciting and competitive environment. These championships decide the Australian Junior, Young Rider and Senior titles. I wish all competitors good luck for a successful show. Edwena Mitchell and her team have worked tirelessly to put this event together, so please take the time to show her your appreciation.
