Chris: #Las Vegas Advisor/ShopLVA website: #Who Are Our Users?
“Vegas, baby!” 1.." Chris" 2-4 visits/yr Young-mid adult, 25-45 years old Enjoys going to Las Vegas, 1-3 times per year. Enjoys everything about the experience: shows, food, vacation, gambling. Subscribes to, or reads the free public version of, *Las Vegas Advisor* online. Gambling budget = $500 per trip, which occasionally grows to $750. Chris plays at "Advantage" level and aspires to do better like learn how to count cards at Blackjack. Newbina: 2. "Newbina" -*^V^/£7 “My first time” Young-middle-aged adult, 20-50 years old ^U—* Has never been to Las Vegas as an adult. Has plans to go for the first time (with someone else or for a work convention and stay over the weekend) within the next two months; is doing some research online to check out options, see if s/he can learn something before going. Is willing to lose up to $200 gambling on various games; hoping to find out more. Gambling = "Beginner" level.
Angel & Pat: 3 . " A n g e l & P a t " A j s U ^ - x T ^ Middle-aged - to senior- adult, 55-75 years old ^-N, *J^+ “So much to Stable couple who go to Las Vegas often; occasionally Atlantic City. Travel or visit gambling destinations at least six times per year. Full membership in LAs Vegas Advisor and they use the coupons. Angel & Pat go to the pool in do there!” the mornings, eat at buffets once or twice per day, usually go downtown to Fremont Street once per trip. Pat sticks to the slot machines. Their gambling budget is fairly large and can go up or down $10,000; they pay attention to their comps and points; their stays at all the hotels are usually comped because they receive offers in the mail. They cross over the "Recreational" to "Advantage" gambling level.
