The estimated thematic accuracy of the land use / land cover is 94% or better, based on internal validation procedures and visual interpretation of recogniz able items on high resolution optical imagery. The estimated geometric accuracy of this product is 5 m, from native positional accuracy of the back ground satellite image. Maximum flood extent and water depth information are simulated products. Therefore, their quality depends on the accuracy of the input data. S ome errors may subsist due to the presence of outliers.
