ROAD TRAFFIC ORDINANCE (Chapter 374) SPEED LIMIT IN HIGHWAY AND TSING LONG HIGHWAY In exercise of the powers vested in me under section 40(2)(a) of the Road Traffic Ordinance, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 a.m. on 9 December 2005, the following section of and Tsing Long Highway will be subject to the speed limits as specified below:— (I) 30 kilometres per hour 1. The section of the underpass and its connecting slip roads in the vicinity of the North Portal. (II) 80 kilometres per hour 1. The section of Tsing Long Highway northbound between a point about 350 metres north of the Tai Lam Tunnel North Portal and a point about 200 metres south of the toll booths of the Tai Lam Tunnel Toll Plaza; 2. The section of Tsing Long Highway southbound between a point about 240 metres south of the toll booths of the Tai Lam Tunnel Toll Plaza and a point about 630 metres north of the tai Lam Tunnel North Portal; 3. The section of Yuen Long Highway eastbound between a point about 80 metres north of its junction with Pok Oi Interchange and its junction with Tsing Long Highway southbound; 4. The section of Yuen Long Highway westbound between its junction with Tsing Long Highway northbound and a point about 60 metres north of its junction with Pok Oi Interchange; 5. The section of Yuen Long Highway northbound between 80 metres north of its junction with Pok Oi Interchange and its junction with Highway northbound; and 6. The section of Yuen Long Highway southbound between its junction with southbound and a point about 60 metres north of its junction with Pok Oi Interchange. (III) 100 kilometres per hour 1. The section of Tsing Long Highway northbound between a point about 340 metres north of the toll booths of the Tai Lam Tunnel Toll Plaza and its junction with San Tin Highway northbound; and 2. The section of Tsing Long Highway southbound between its junction with San Tin Highway southbound and a point about 260 metres north of the toll booths of the Tai Lam Tunnel Toll Plaza.
