We are often told by many Barefoot Bowlers that they have driven passed the bowls club for many years and did not realise what a beautiful facility we have. Our immediate neighbors are Travelodge, Restaurant 98 and the Edge. We have a great view of the Fitzroy River with the Berserker Mountains in the background. Bowling at night is magic. There is always progress going on at the Rockhampton Bowls Club. BBQs are a great feature of the Club`s income stream. Continuing with the 5 year plan our BBQ facility that has serviced the club so well of many years is now being upgraded. Work is now in progress to raise the concrete floor, raise the structure of the roof, replace the roof, and install walls Rockhampton Bowls Club Inc. Newsletter. Page 1 and ceiling. New Beef Eaters BBQ, stainless steel benches and LED lighting. Progress photos below. Specsavers Audiology Is now sponsoring the Rockhampton Bowls Club. Although a lot of our members already go to Specsavers, those that don`t please consider to do so. At a recent barefoot bowling night a group from a Queensland Health Department ended the night with a knock out competition.
