Ngong Ping Cable Car service will resume on 5 June

, 3 June 2017) 360 would like to inform all guests that the Rope Replacement Project, including the rigorous system test, has been completed. The cable car service will resume at 10 am on 5 June.

To reserve more time for night inspection and maintenance work and ensure high cable car service stability in a new stage of operation, the service hours will be 10 am to 5 pm from 5 to 11 June. Normal cable car service, i.e., 10 am to 6 pm on weekdays and 9 am to 6:30 pm on weekends and public holidays, will resume from 12 June. Contractors will remove all relevant equipment and devices upon completing repair work on the Ngong Ping Rescue Trail, which will reopen to the public on 30 June after a safety assessment (for a detailed timetable, please refer to Appendix 1).

To show our appreciation for our guests’ continued support, those who purchase via ’s website can receive a 15% discount for round-trip cable car tickets (one trip in a standard cabin and one trip in a crystal cabin) from the resumption of cable car service to 30 June. Meanwhile, to commemorate Ngong Ping 360’s 10th anniversary, all 10-year-old children 1 (born between 18 September 2006 and 17 September 2007) accompanied by a person aged 15 or above can take unlimited cable car rides (Standard Cabin) for free until 31 December 2017. 10% discount is offered to a maximum of 2 accompanying adults. Furthermore, from the date of cable car reopening to 15 June, guests can redeem a same-day MTR single-journey ticket2 with dining and shopping receipts of HK$200 or above at Ngong Ping Village (for promotion details, please refer to Appendix 2).
