Challenges Lack of funding for health cluster coordination (central and regional)  Some partners’ delays in information sharing  Some partners’ poor adherence to revised reporting format  Shortage and delays in funding  Shortage of medical supplies  Increased population movements  Highly scattered villages  Short term projects (e.g. 3 months)  Frequent disease outbreaks (AWD/Malaria/Measles)  Poor integration in most interventions  Geographical distance  Accessibility for mobile teams in some locations

Recommendations  Support health partners on funding gaps and to allow responding timely  Funding support for health coordination (at least 2 dedicated persons (coordinator and assistant), capacity building, office space, equipment, attend regional health cluster meetings, conduct monitoring missions)  Strengthen health and nutrition education  Intensify AWD prevention measures

 Enhance malaria control measures  Enhance integration of interventions (e.g. WASH interventions in health facilities)  WASH supplies need to be with the MoH

Action Points  Develop and share attendance and reporting trackers for health cluster coordination meetings- M. Hersi, 29 May  Submit weekly report on time using the final version of the adopted weekly reporting template- health cluster implementing partners, every Tuesday  Presentations during health cluster coordination meetings using the standardized presentation template, all health cluster partners, every Thursday  Update the Master Facility List (MFL) and circulate widely- M.
