Minimum Score 65% • Students must complete a minimum 60 - 64.9% Conditional Acceptance of 11 years of schooling and a school leaving certificate must be provided. INDIAN CURRICULUM • A combination of GCSE (O level) and Qualification AS/A levels is acceptable provided Indian School Certificate awarded that the subjects cover at least four by ICSE or CBSE of the following fields: Minimum Score 55% - Math - Humanities & Social Sciences AMERICAN CURRICULUM - Science Qualification - Arts & Design American High School Diploma - Languages providing Grade 10,11 & 12 Minimum Grade Minimum Score 65% • (C) for O level Overall average of Grade C- • (D) for AS level (65% or 2.3/4.0) • (E) for A level ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS (UNDERGRADUATE - ENGINEERING) Science Stream students only accepted. Meet all admission requirements. 2. Fill out the application form through this link. Please note of the documents to be provided with the application: a. All original copies of High School Certificates and transcripts from 10th – 12th; - For UAE Curriculum: Applicants must submit the Certified copy of an official general secondary or high school certificate or its equivalent with a score of at least 65% for BBA, 60% for BS-CIS ISS and 70% for BS-EE. - For American Curriculum: Applicants submit the results of Grade 10, 11 & 12 and the graduation certificate. - For Indian Curriculum: Applicants must submit the Indian School Certificate awarded by ICSE or CBSE. - For British system applicants, submit transcripts and a letter from the school showing the final grade (year) completed in school. (All mark sheets that will be submitted must be attested. See below the steps for attestation.) b. Copy of valid passport (more than 6 months validity); c. Four recent passport-size photographs (colored with white background) or in JPEG file format. (to be Consistent throughout); d. IELTS or TOEFL score: Applicants who do not have TOEFL/ IELTS score must take the UD English Placement Test; e. SAT result: Applicants who do not have SAT must take the UD Math Placement test. For item (a) all original copies of High School Certificates and 10th – 12th mark sheets that will be submitted must be attested. Below are the steps for attestation in order: • Certificates and mark sheets must first be attested by the following organizations from the country where the applicant graduated: - Ministry of Education (or the equivalent educational institute) - Ministry of Foreign Affairs - UAE Embassy • After which, these documents must also be attested by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the UAE; • Once attested, certificates and mark sheets must be submitted to the UAE Ministry of Education (MoE) for equivalency. If the applicant is deemed eligible, the acceptance letter will be sent within 2-3 working days; 4. Payment of Fees; 5. Hold a Master’s degree (or equivalent) in any business-related field from an accredited university. 2. Have a grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 or higher out of 4.0 in coursework taken for the Master’s. 3. Have at least three years’ teaching or managerial experience. 4. Fulfill the English language entry requirement: TOEFL 550 (paper-based test) or TOEFL iBT score of 79 or 4. IELTS 6 overall (with at least a band 6 in each skill) APPLICATION PROCESS (PhD) 1. Complete and submit the Application form 2. Provide two satisfactory reference letters from academicians and/or employers 3. Provide a certified copy of the last two degrees (Bachelor’s and Master’s degree) 4. Provide an updated CV 5. Write and submit a statement of their professional plans/career objective – this must be done in can- didates’ own handwriting and should total at least 1000 words or two pages and address why they are applying for the program 6. Submit a research proposal 7. Take an aptitude test to assess the knowledge level of PhD Candidates covering research process: in- cluding problem identification, hypothesis testing, basic statistics and probability concepts. 8. Attend an interview with the PhD Program Committee 9. Pay the application fee of $815 (non-refundable) For item (#3) all original copies of Master and Bachelor Certificates with the corresponding transcripts that will be submitted must be attested.
