I hope you will find much of interest in our new catalogue featuring titles published in the second half of 2014. We are excited to be taking over the distribution of Rankin Publishing, whose provocatively entitled F**k Y*o (p.2) is one of the highlights of the season. There are also important titles from Schirmer Mosel, including a new selection of Peter Lindbergh’s Women (p.5) and a reprint of the |iconic Nicknight title (p.7). There are big exhibition catalogues on Rembrandt and the Dutch Golden Age (p.19) from The Museum of Fine Arts, Budapest and Dada and Surrealism (p.24) from the Hungarian National Gallery, and a range of exciting fashion and interior design titles from the Pointed Leaf Press (pp.55-58). JOHN RULE Autumn 2014 3 Prolific photographer, filmmaker and publisher, Rankin, born in 1966 in Glasgow, founded the seminal monthly magazine Dazed & PHOTOGRAPHY Confused in 1992 with Jefferson Hack. Other titles have followed, including Another Magazine in 2005 and Hunger Magazine in 2011. Synonymous with compelling portraiture, Rankin has shot bands, artists, supermodels and politicians. As a commercial photographer and director he has worked with some of the biggest brands in the world. In his career Rankin has published over thirty titles. His books document the acuity of his vision and his extraordinary gifts as an image-maker.
