It was the secluded location of Priory View which first attracted the current owners to the property “We love the fact that it is so hidden away,” they say, “with a magical feeling of peace and quiet and sprawling, unspoilt views.”

In the time that has passed since initially falling in love with the property and its situation, the owners have made various enhancements to the house. “Since moving in, we have installed oak floors and bi fold doors, new carpets, and a clear view fireplace,” they say, “also opening up the side of the house to create a more spacious living area. We even built a Norwegian style wood cabin with log burner at the bottom of the garden, which provides a very special, cosy indoor-outdoor space to supplement the house itself.”

Being so secluded, the situation of the property makes it ideal for entertaining. “We can play music as loud as we like at parties,” say the owners, “without disturbing any neighbours! The tranquillity of the setting on a day to day basis is perhaps even more special, however. With 180° panoramic views, we often spend time with the children in the garden of an evening, looking up at the sky and plane spotting or star gazing.”

The location also has much to offer in terms of amenities. “There is a local farm shop selling fresh organic produce,” say the owners, “while in the next village there is a Post Office, chip shop, Chinese restaurant and café – something to suit all tastes! Just a 10 minute stroll along the bridle path across the fields takes you to the friendly local pub, too. The Denbigh Estate is close to Pailton, too, with its annual game fair, summer fete and daffodil festival.”

“We love to open up the bi fold doors to make the most of the stunning views of the Warwickshire countryside, enjoying the peaceful location. On the other hand, the secluded situation is also perfect for parties, allowing for loud music at all hours of day or night!”

“The living room is a favourite space whatever the season, with its clear view fireplace providing cosiness and warmth in winter, and fabulous views of the changing landscape all year round. The oak floors and exposed brick effect feature wall create a great sense of atmosphere and welcoming character.”

“The views of the countryside surroundings are incredibly beautiful, and we are not at all overlooked in the house or garden, so it really feels like our own little piece of paradise.”

“We will miss the amazing friends and neighbours we have here, as well as the beauty and quietness of the village location.”*
