Updates on COVID-19 Response at CNM

First and foremost, please do your absolute best to keep yourself and others safe by persistently following these very important prevention measures provided by the Centers for Disease Control. CNM is directing everybody who is physically on campus to maintain safe social distancing, which means to keep at least six feet of distance between yourself and other individuals while you are at a CNM location. Our state and federal government are also urging all Americans to follow this guidance when you are out in public as well.

As CNM joins our local, state and global community to reduce and shorten the risk of community spread of COVID-19, the College is working as quickly as possible to implement a modified mode of operations for the next three weeks. CNM is also planning for how the College will move forward after the three-week period.

Here are some updates:

Web Page Available for Moving to Online Courses Resources for faculty and students moving to online courses are available on this page. The Distance Learning department is offering drop-in and virtual labs to assist faculty in moving their content online. The web page has the schedule and more information.

CNM’s Information Hub Related to Coronavirus -- cnm.edu/coronavirus – Being Updated Regularly For the latest information on impacts to CNM operations and classes, please regularly check www.cnm.edu/coronavirus. There are also “Frequently Asked

Questions” for faculty, staff, and students accessible on the page that will be updated and checked for timeliness at least three times daily.

ITS Technology Service & Training Center Moved to SRC 204 for Safety ITS has moved the Technology Service and Training Center (TSTC) location on Main Campus to Room 204 in the Student Resource Center. This will provide a larger space for students, faculty and staff to receive technical support and training while being able to maintain social distancing of at least six feet from one another. There will be tables set up for troubleshooting technology, as well as technical support training on how to use work-from-home technology. ITS is recommending WebEx for remote meetings and other collaborative efforts. Other collaboration platform will be supported as well.
