Solid wastes generated is being segregated into biodegradable (waste vegetables and foods etc.) and non- biodegradable (papers, cartons, thermocol, plastics, glass etc.) components and collected in separate bins. The biodegradable organic wastes will be treated inside the premises. Recyclable and non-recyclable wastes will be disposed through Govt. approved agency. Liquid effluents: During construction phase, sewage generate from construction camp will be approx. 2.7 KLD which shall be treated and disposed through septic tanks with soak pits. The domestic waste water of 85 KLD will be generated during the operation phase will be treated up to tertiary level in a STP of 120 KLD capacity. The treated sewage is being reused for toilet flushing and horticulture. Dewatered/dried sludge generated from the STP plant is being used as manure for green belt development.
