DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION e SCHOLARSHIP EXAMINATIONS The Honourable the Minister for Health and Education has directed that the Examinations for the award of lower and upper age scholar ships be held on Tuesday 27th July. The scholarship will be for secondary education overseas as from the beginning of the 1983 school year.

Children who are members of the Nauruan Community may compete for the awards.

Students in Form 1 in 1982 are eligible to sit for the lower age scholarship examination. However a child who will be older than 13 years 6 months on December 31st 1982 will be awarded a scholar ship only under special circumstances.

Students in Form 4 in 1982 are eligible to sit for the upper age scholarship examination. Any student older than 17 years on December 31st 1982 will be awarded a scholarship only under special circum stances. .. 12.
