Basic idea The founders’ underlying idea was to develop a restaurant where guests could enjoy uncompromised freshness along with having every freedom – with people’s individual requests and preferences taken into account. For the guests, therefore, VAPIANO means autonomy and individuality, paired with fair prices, and this in a relaxed and cosmopolitan atmosphere.

“Fresh Casual • Fresh: Freshness is the concept’s bedrock – freshness of the ingredients, Dining“-Concept in the preparation and in the way of thinking. In almost each individual VAPIANO across the world, , dough and sauces are made in- house, sometimes even in the middle of the seating area, in the glass manifattura. In the show kitchen, each individual dish is prepared “à la minute” in front of and for the guests. This interactive front-cooking concept enables guests to be able to directly communicate their preferences and requirements to the cook while he or she makes the

meal. This is how personal favourite meals are created. The dressings, cakes and dolci (desserts) are also prepared or baked freshly everyday – worldwide, in all VAPIANOs.

• Casual: For the guests, VAPIANO means autonomy and individuality paired with fair prices and a casual atmosphere. There is no dress code and booking a table is not necessary – it’s like having a meal with good friends. And: the long oak tables, the bar with its generous dimensions and the comfortable lounge provide a platform for communication.

• Dining: VAPIANO is always the right choice and resonates with the flexible and urbane lifestyle of its guests, no matter what their age. The guests come by spontaneously for lunch, for a latte macchiato with dolci in between or a relaxed evening with antipasti and a drop of good wine in the lounge – whether alone or in a group.

Design and Matteo Thun, Milan architect and interior designer, has developed the furnishing interior design of VAPIANO. Clean lines, oak wood tables and red highlights create an ambiance of well-being with Mediterranean flair.

The 100-year-old olive tree plays a major role in design. It comes directly from Italy and is being chosen individually to perfectly fit into every restaurant that is being opened.

What is the meaning The name derives from Italian proverb „Chi va piano va sano e va lontano“: of the name “One who takes life easy and relaxed, lives healthier and longer.” “VAPIANO“?
