The bond between the Villanova Men’s Basketball program and the community it represents is acknowledged in a series of traditions developed in this decade

Through the Nation’s Heartland

At each Pavilion home game, the Wildcats enter the arena before tipoff through the 1,500 seat student section as a sign that they are very much a part of the student population.

Thanks For the Support

Following every Villanova home game, win or lose, the Wildcats appear before the student section as a unit with their fingers in the sign of a “V” to say thanks for bringing energy to the arena.

Farewell Seniors

On Senior Night, the Villanova Basketball seniors meet with their fellow classmates prior to the game to express their appreciation for the four years of passionate cheering on their behalf .
