Welcome to the 3rd Theme Visit on Media Integrated Production. We warmly thank our hosts at VRT & RTBF for their great support and collaboration in making this event possible.

Over the next two days you will: - hear about the visions VRT and RTBF have for their News and understand the key elements of the integrated workflows of the two broadcasters from a strategic, organisational , technical & editorial standpoint; – learn about the challenges faced by the two organizations when integrating their News production and the type of solutions they have developed; – share and discuss with VRT & RTBF professionals and European colleagues, take part in an open dialogue between engineers and journalists.

The EBU Strategic Programme on “Integrated Media Production Strategies” (IMPS) has been set up to assist Members in the planning and implementation of integrated production facilities, with an initial focus on news and sports. IMPS is an interdisciplinary programme, initiated by EBU Technology & Innovation and involving ACADEMY and the EBU News Group.
