Mixed Media Assemblage Class – Supply List Shawn Sargent Fall 2011 About Assemblage is an artistic process in which a three-dimensional composition is made from Assemblage putting together found objects. Assemblage, like , creates meaning through the and Found association of juxtaposed objects. Found Objects are preformed natural or manufactured Objects materials, objects, or fragments typically not intended as materials (a discarded ticket from the street, a set of old keys, fabric from a worn shirt, or parts from an old toy or clock).

Here is just a sampling of found objects to spark ideas:

For first Come to the first class with a collection of materials and objects that have meaning or are assemblage visually appealing to you, and discover new ways of using them.
